What our lessons look like
Engaging children with music
- Our lively and passionate teachers encourage children to take an active interest in music.
- We find a balance between playing familiar and new songs for children to learn.
- We include instruments, backing tracks, actions, dancing, parachute games, bubbles, makaton and cool downs.
Developing Essential Skills
- Music encourages and facilitates the development of a wide range of skills, such as communication and coordination.
- Our classes are focussed on team building, listening, sharing, learning and most importantly an understanding for music!
- Our classes help build discipline and improve self confidence.
- We introduce patterns and rhyming in a fun and easy way.
The importance of music at Little Harmonies
Engaging children with music from an early age helps them to develop their cognitive ability. It helps them recognise and learn things such as patterns, rhymes and actions, laying a strong foundation for many areas later in life. We are very passionate about how music has influenced our lives and hope that we can share that passion with as many people as possible.
